Elliot's Corner
Hi. My name is Elliot. I live in Wisconsin. I have 7 people in my family. I like playing games and baseball. I am 9 years old, turning 10 in the summer. This website is for my rMED. rMED is multiple epiphyseal dysplasia, and I forgot what the "r" is. It means that my bones are displaced, especially in my knees. I've gone to many different states for medical stuff. I saw 4 doctors last year. I got a lot of x-rays. After all those x-rays and after all those doctors we went home and I counted how many hours and it was 56 hours of driving. This year I get surgery! I hope the surgery will allow me to play baseball.
When I first got my cane, I didn't know it was going to come because I didn't go to the store with my younger brother, Micah and my Mom. My brother picked out my cane. It was green camouflage for the color. It worked out perfectly. My Mom thought it was going to be too tall but then I put it at the right place because it can change height. I use my cane to get around school.
When I got my transport chair, it took about a month after my cane arrived and I use it to get around everywhere that I go. Before I went for the medical stuff, I got my chair so I could get around when we have a pit stop. My chair is light blue and dark blue with stripes.
My scooter took me 3 months to get after I ordered it. And then it was the wrong order! So I had to wait 2 more days. I use my scooter to get around school just like my cane.
And that's my story of what I got.
